How to pay excise duties?
When storing goods, you will pay the excise duties with the import customs declaration. When removing goods from a BW, you will pay the excise duties with the monthly return you must submit as a BW permitholder.
The excise duties for cigarettes are paid by means of duty seals. The seals can be ordered from Douane Caribisch Nederland, Customer Service Team. Click here for the contact details.
Each pack of cigarettes must have this duty seal before its storage in and removal from the BW.
