Removal goods have arrived
Your removal goods may have arrived while your regular place of residence has not yet been confirmed using proof of registration with the Civil Affairs Department of the island territory to which you moved.
If you do want to have access to your removal goods, you can file an import declaration, but you will be required to provide security (a monetary amount) for any import taxes due. If you obtain proof of registration at a later time, you can use this proof to submit a written request to Customs to have your security returned. You must refer to the number and date of the import declaration in the request.
If the transfer from your regular place of residence to Caribbean Netherlands is refused by the authorities, the security will be collected as taxes due for the import of (removal) goods.
