Storage of goods
In international trade, you may not want to import goods directly (making them freely available for trade). For this reason, Douane Caribisch Nederland offers the option of storing goods subject to customs supervision at storage locations. In this respect, a distinction can be made between:
As long as the goods are located in one of the storage arrangements set out above, you will not need to pay import tax.
Storage in a bonded warehouse has been set out in the excise duties provisions.
