Customs agent

The customs agent has the right to file declarations for third parties. This person is independently responsible for a declaration filed with Customs, including the potential payment of taxes and/or costs related to the declaration.

Because of the risk involved, the customs agent has a pre-emptive right to all assets in case of a bankruptcy of the client for the general expenditure tax, other taxes, interest, costs, and the like paid by it for the benefit of the client.

What do I have to do to become a customs agent myself?
