Today, January 26, we mark the International Customs Day, a day on which attention is drawn to the important work of Customs worldwide.
This year, the day is particularly special for Customs Caribbean Netherlands: we are welcoming delegations from Curaçao, Aruba, Suriname and the Netherlands. Their attendance demonstrates the importance of cooperation. Together, we learn and strengthen each other, enabling us to better address challenges in cross-border situations.
We would like to thank all customs officers for their efforts, professionalism and dedication. Thanks to your work, our borders are secure, trade is fair and our society remains protected.
