From Wednesday 18 March, everyone can file their income tax return for 2025. The Income Tax Return for 2025 can be submitted either on paper or online. For several years now, the Belastingdienst Caribisch Nederland (Tax Office) has also been offering individuals and businesses the option of filing their tax returns online. If you choose to file your tax return online, you can already do so starting now. If you prefer to submit the tax return on paper, you can do so from 18 March 2026.
Filing the income tax return 2025
In the last week of February, the Belastingdienst CN started sending the invitations for filing the return. They are sent both by post and to your digital mailbox (berichtenboxcn). It is again possible to file your income tax 2025 via www.MijnCN.nl.
The advantage of filing your return online is that it is faster and easier. In most cases, you immediately see how much money is refunded to you or how much you still need to pay. In addition, after filing, you immediately receive a digital confirmation of your return.
Deadline and processing period
The income tax return 2025 must have been filed no later than 18 May 2026. The Belastingdienst CN applies a processing period up to November for returns filed in a timely manner. The sooner the return is filed, the sooner it can be processed. In instances where additional information is required, the processing can take more time.
