The Tax Office Caribbean Netherlands (BCN) is aware of the limited postal services on Saba in recent months. As a result, some residents may have had less time to respond to a payment reminder or to arrange a payment plan.
To take this situation into account, BCN is introducing a two-month grace period.
The grace period runs from 1 September through the 31 October 2026.
Who does the grace period apply to?
The grace period applies to all taxpayers on Saba who received a payment reminder dated between January and July 2026.
For this group of taxpayers, the payment reminder fee of USD 8.00 will be automatically waived. You do not need to submit a request for this.
Any outstanding tax debt must be paid in full by 31 of October 2026. After this date, BCN will resume the regular collection process for any amounts that remain outstanding.
