Importing and unloading goods

Customs must be informed if a ship or aircraft wants to bring goods to Bonaire, Saba, or Saint Eustatius. The entire reporting process is also called the import clearance procedure.

Import clearance procedure

The import clearance procedure consists of the formalities that must be completed by the captain or a ship or pilot of an airplane to be allowed to bring goods to one of the islands. These formalities are usually completed by a representative (a shipping or aircraft agent) of the shipping company or airline.
